Heritage Hall Museum and Art Center is proud to announce the opening of KidsART 2025, an inspiring exhibition that celebrates the creativity and talent of students from the Talladega City Schools Art Program. This year’s exhibit showcases 250 outstanding pieces selected from more than 1,500 artworks created by 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students at Evelyn Houston Elementary School.

The community was warmly invited to the opening reception and awards presentation on Sunday, June 8, from 2–4 p.m. Scholarships to Arts Camp will be awarded, and visitors will have the chance to meet the young artists and explore their globally inspired creations under the theme "Art Around the World."

Thanks to the ongoing support of Dr. Quentin Lee, the Talladega Board of Education, the City of Talladega, and the Jemison Carnegie Foundation, the program continues to enrich students’ education through both in-class and online instruction. Special recognition goes to art instructors Mrs. Sundi Hawkins and Jackie Morgan, who curated the exhibit.

KidsART 2025 will remain on display throughout the summer at Heritage Hall. Artworks will be returned to the schools after August 8, or families may pick them up directly from the museum.

Come celebrate the next generation of artists and the vibrant spirit of creativity in our schools!
