A Week of Learning!

For the past two weeks, Heritage Hall has hosted 14 different Talladega City and County schools, along with the Ascension Leadership Academy and Hope Academy, hosting a total of 420 students!!! We could not be more excited to have facilitated a learning experience for our community's bright students. We made the most of our exhibits--both local and state--and are proud to offer these learning experiences to the community as a whole. "Making Alabama: A Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit" and "A Sense of Place: Talladega's Past" will be up for one more full week. Please come explore our rich history for yourself!

Exploring our Histories: “Making Alabama” & “A Sense of Place: Talladega’s Past”

A big thank you to everyone who made it out to Heritage Hall’s reception for “Making Alabama” yesterday! It was so great for us to witness the community coming together to explore and think about where we have been as both a county and state. The Alabama Humanities Foundation’s, Making Alabama: A Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit, will be open at the museum until May 25 as it makes its way across the state this year. The display features eye-catching artworks that represent particular periods while corresponding kiosks offer visitors the chance to learn about each period of our state’s history. We are also exhibiting, “A Sense of Place: Talladega’s Past”, so please take advantage of this opport
