Thank you for your interest in Heritage Hall’s 2026 Arts Camp for Kids. We greatly appreciate your support of Arts Camp for Kids and look forward to making this year’s camps the best yet!
Location
Heritage Hall’s 2026 Arts Camp for Kids will be held at the Spring Street Recreation Center, located at 502 South Spring Street. Parents should drop off and pick up their child at the upper parking lot entrance. To access it, turn from South Street onto Spring Street, then take a left into the upper parking lot. Camp Assistants will be on hand to help your child exit the vehicle. Each morning, campers will check in and receive a badge. On the last day of camp (Friday), activities will take place at the Historic Ritz Theatre. Campers should be dropped off at the theatre by 8:00 AM, and there will be a special performance at 11:00 AM for family and friends—admission is free.
Dates and Times
The camp offers three sessions: June 22–26, July 6–10, and July 20–24. Each day of camp runs from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Activities
Campers will explore several creative disciplines, including drawing and painting, sculpture and pottery, and music and performance. These sessions are designed to be both educational and fun, encouraging self-expression and creativity.
What to Wear
Comfortable clothes are a must, as children will be painting and participating in hands-on art activities. Shorts, t-shirts, and play shoes are ideal. For safety reasons, shoes must be worn at all times, and flip-flops are strongly discouraged.
Snacks
A mid-morning break is included in each day’s schedule. Parents should pack a snack and drink for their child to bring to camp each day.
Tuition and Scholarships
Camp tuition is $100 per child, per camp. Families enrolling more than one child from the same household receive a reduced rate of $80 per child, per camp.
A limited number of scholarships are available for qualifying students, based on financial need and demonstrated aptitude. These scholarships are offered in partnership with Talladega City and County elementary schools. Families are encouraged to contact their child’s guidance counselor for more information.
Homeschool families are warmly welcomed. Please contact the museum directly, and we will make every effort to accommodate your child’s participation.
