Celebrating the Quilts of Gee's Bend

Thank you to everyone who came out to the reception for the Gee’s Bend Quilts exhibit!! We had a great night and hosted a one of a kind experience where Mary Ann Pettway and China Pettway talked about their work and what their experiences have meant to them. They also sang several songs for us, giving us a night to celebrate and remember as we begin a year of exhibits aiming to bring the community together.

We will be exhibiting the Quilts of Gee’s Bend from now until February 28, so please visit us, and don’t miss the chance to experience these stunning works of art in person!
