I started focusing on Art while in high school in Sylacauga, AL. My Art teacher, Mrs LeBron, inspired me.
Although I grew up in Sylacauga, I now live in Talladega. I have studied Art with professional artists including the late Tommy Moorehead.
I paint with several different mediums including, but not limited to oil, acrylic and watercolor. I use varied objects with my work, including canvas, wood paper, glass, including wine bottles.
I also enjoy doing portrait sketches. Some of my favorites are Native Americans and famous people. One of my sketches of Selocta hangs in the Chamber of Commerce in Talladega. Several others are featured in a book by author Cabor Barden titled “I will War no more.”
