I, Nanda, am Indian by culture and was born and raised in Kenya, EA by Indian parents. We moved to England when I was 16. I was raised by a village of people including Mom, Grandma, Aunts and others. Having grown up outside India, in different countries but with an Indian culture, created a lot of different emotions which stayed through the years and now have brought me to create this series of works.
